What are the Administration Office hours?

The Administration Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The front reception desk is staffed 8 a.m. to 12 midnight every day.


Events

How do I become an exhibitor at the events?
Booth space at the events is sold by the show management of that specific event. If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor, you will need to contact the show directly to book space. If you do not know who is producing the event, we will provide the contact information upon request.

Can I bring my pet to the events at the exposition center?
Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash. However, for the safety of both the pet and our patrons, we prefer that pets not be brought to the facility.


Parking

Do you offer handicap accessible parking for events?
Yes, please click here for a map of the spaces designated for handicap parking.

How early do the gates open in the morning?
The gates usually open around 7 a.m.

What gates should I use to avoid heavy traffic?
The gates most heavily used are Gate 4 (Crittenden Drive) and Gate 1 (Phillips Lane). You may try using Gates 2 and 3 (Crittenden Drive) or using Gate 6 off of Preston Highway.

Do I have to pay the parking fee if I am just dropping someone off?
Yes, however, you may receive a refund if you are on the grounds less than 30 minutes. In order to receive a refund, you MUST request a refund card from the gate attendant as you enter. You will receive your refund upon exiting as long as it is under 30 minutes. Gate 1 (the Main Gate) offers a refund lane for your convenience (refunds are also given at all other gates EXCEPT Gate 6).

If I leave the grounds and come back in the same day do I have to pay the parking fee again?
Yes, anytime you leave the grounds and return you must pay the $8 parking fee.

Does the facility provide wheelchair rentals?
Some events do provide wheelchair rentals. However, we suggest you call ahead to see if the particular event you plan on attending offers the service.

Some events do provide stroller rentals. However, we suggest you call ahead to see if the particular event you plan on attending offers the service.

Does the facility offer shuttle services?
No, shuttle services are not offered.

What are the hotels closest to the facility?
The best resource to find hotels near our facility is the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau web site. Go online to www.gotolouisville.com and click on “Visitor Info – Accommodations.” Search using “Browse Locations” and choose the “Airport/South” category. The listing will include hotels nearby the exposition center.

What are some of the local restaurants nearby?
The best resource to find restaurants near our facility is the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau web site. Go online to www.gotolouisville.com and click on “Visitor Info – Restaurants.” Search using “Browse Locations” and choose the “Airport/South” category. The listing will include restaurants nearby the exposition center.

How far is the exposition center from the airport?
The exposition center is located adjacent to the airport (less than five minutes away).

How far is the exposition center from downtown Louisville?
The exposition center is located approximately five miles outside of downtown Louisville.

What is the street address? (Where is the facility located?)
The exposition center is located at 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY 40209. The facility gates are located off of Crittenden Drive, Phillips Lane and Preston Highway – all easily accessible from exits off of Interstate 65 and Interstate 264. Follow the signs reading “Fair/Expo Center.” For more information, please click here.

Are there ATMs available?
Yes, there are three ATMs at the facility. However, during multiple events with high attendance, the machines may run low on cash. We recommend you plan in advance to bring enough cash for your visit.

I lost an item while on the grounds – who do I contact to see if anyone found it?

Is smoking allowed at the exposition center?
The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted indoors including Cardinal Stadium. Smoking areas for all exhibitors, attendees and contract personnel, as well as Kentucky Exposition Center employees are in outside areas only.


Tickets

I have tickets to an event and want to know where my seats are located?
Unfortunately, we do not have any diagrams that offer specific seat numbers because the set-up configurations for each event are different. To view the seating charts with section numbers and the Freedom Hall virtual tour, click here.

Are cameras allowed at concerts or events?
Your personal point-and-shoot camera (camera with non-detachable lens), which takes still photography, is allowed. However, video, professional photography (camera with detachable lens), and other forms of media are strictly prohibited. Please be aware that some concerts or events may prohibit the use of any cameras at all (the decision is made at their discretion). Please call ahead prior to the event you plan to attend for their camera policy.

Do you offer handicap accessible seating for events?
Yes, however, you must specifically request accessible seats when purchasing your tickets.

What are the Ticket Office hours?
Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday* 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday* 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

*The office is only open when tickets are scheduled to go on sale Saturday/Sunday

Can I leave an event and re-enter as long as I have my ticket stub?
No, there is no re-entry for ticketed events.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my young child to be admitted?
For most ticketed events, children under 2 years old will not require a ticket if they will be sitting on a paying adult's lap. If a child under 2 years of age requires a seat, a ticket is needed. However, we recommend always verifying the age requirements for tickets with Ticketmaster or the facility’s Ticket Office (click here for contact information).

Does my ticket purchase include parking?
No, parking is not included in the price of your ticket. Parking is $8.
